The purpose of the Free Methodist Church is know God and to glorify Him by making Him known.

Our Mission

The mission of the Free Methodist Church is to make known to all people everywhere God's call to wholeness through forgiveness and holiness in Jesus Christ, and to invite into membership and to equip for ministry all who respond in faith.

Our Core Values.

As people of the Wesleyan/Arminian tradition, focused on living holy lives to the glory of God, we will:

"love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and love others as much as we love ourselves." (Mark 12:30-31)

"go to the people of all nations and make them disciples of Jesus." (Matthew 28:19)

What we're all about...

We are a community of people committed to following Christ and committed to helping others find the freedom that comes from knowing Him.   We are seeking to make an impact on the Birmingham area through prayer, Bible Study, fellowship, and communion together.  If you would like more information about our church, please click the link below.

Our pastor, Andy Bunn, received his B.S. degree in Business Marketing from the University of Alabama in 1986 and received his master's degree in 1991 from Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.  He has been an Elder in the Free Methodist Church for 13 years.  Our fellowship is part of the Alabama-Georgia Mission District of the Free Methodist Church.
